This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases additional modules / system of the Sacco Management Software. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.

Main Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for effective analysis, design and installation/configuration, of business systems and related infrastructure
Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation
Assisting client’s project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of additional modules /system of the VALUEMIS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS
Installing new / rebuild existing VALUEMIS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS system
Contribute to and maintain VALUEMIS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS system standards
Research and recommend innovative
Carrying out routine software support services on behalf of the company at the client site/remote
Working as team player in the technical department
Participates in market research and business development
Any other duties that may be given to you from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Install and configure systems such as Sacco Management applications.
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Contribute to and maintain system standards.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSC Degree or Diploma in Computer studies or equivalent Over 3 years working experience in a similar role
- Interpersonal relations Focused and organized Able to work under pressure
